On March 10th, 2023, the world was deprived of a ray of light and love when Talia Petoia was shot through the heart by the man who claimed to love her.
I made this original painting when Talia, one of my oldest friends, was killed. I wanted to honor Talia's spirit of incredible bravery – perhaps a touch of stubbornness – her consummate joy, and her adventurous, loving heart.
Proceeds from the sale of this print will be donated to Steps to Hope, an organization dedicated to fighting domestic violence.
